These Terms comply with the Republic of Korea's Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Framework Act on Consumers, and other applicable laws.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Servan service ("Servan", the "Service") operated by Tyranno Apartment ("Tyranno Apartment", "we", "us"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Servan is a memory layer that captures, structures, and maintains organizational memory — serving it to both humans and AI agents. The Service includes a Knowledge Base, AI report generation and dispatch, integrations with third-party tools, and an MCP server interface. Specific features may change over time; we may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

  • You must be at least 14 years old (Republic of Korea) or 13 years old (other jurisdictions, or the minimum age of digital consent where higher) to use Servan.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person without our consent.
  • Servan offers a free tier with usage limits and paid plans (Pro, Business). Plan limits and entitlements are described on the pricing page and may change with notice.
  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe (web), Apple In-App Purchase (iOS/macOS), or Google Play Billing (Android), depending on the platform you subscribed through.
  • For App Store and Google Play subscriptions, refunds and renewal management are governed by the respective platform's terms. Cancellation must be done through the platform's subscription settings.
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; pro-rated charges or credits apply where supported by the payment processor.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' prior notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

We comply with the Republic of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce ("E-Commerce Act") and the Framework Act on Consumers.

You may cancel and obtain a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided delivery of digital content (use of paid AI features, paid quota usage, etc.) has not commenced.

Pursuant to E-Commerce Act Article 17(2)(5) and its Enforcement Decree, the right of cancellation may be restricted for the portion of severable digital content that has already been delivered. At checkout we clearly notify you that "delivery starts immediately upon consent and cancellation may be restricted for delivered portions" and confirm your acknowledgment.

  • Monthly plans: within 7 days of the initial charge, provided you have not substantially used paid features.
  • Annual plans: within 14 days of the initial charge, same conditions.
  • After 7/14 days: refunds for the remaining term are generally not available, except for service outages caused by us (pro-rated refund for unused time).
  • Refund request: email support@tyrannoapartment.com; we process within 7 business days.
  • Apple/Google IAP refunds follow each platform's policy (see the Refund Policy page).
  • You retain all copyright and ownership rights to the content you upload, write, or generate inside Servan ("Your Content").
  • AI-generated outputs (KB drafts, conflict proposals, change suggestions) are treated as derivative works of your input and are owned by you.
  • You grant Tyranno Apartment a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process, embed, index, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your team.
  • We do NOT use your content to train our own AI models. Where the LLM provider offers an opt-out, we opt out of training on your content.
  • When you use AI features, we may transmit Your Content to AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude via MCP) to generate responses for you.
  • You are solely responsible for the legality of Your Content and for backing it up. You represent that you have the necessary rights to all content you submit.

You agree NOT to (see the full Acceptable Use Policy page for details):

  • Use the Service to send spam, harass others, or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users (including excessive API calls or AI request volume beyond your plan).
  • Abuse, jailbreak, or attempt to circumvent the AI providers' usage policies through Servan.
  • Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service except through documented APIs in accordance with your plan.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Service, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product or to train competing AI models on Servan content.
  • Upload content for which you do not hold sufficient rights, or content that violates the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

  • Servan integrates with third-party services (Slack, GitHub, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Notion, AI providers, payment processors).
  • When you connect a third party, the third party's terms and privacy policy take precedence for that service.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or content of any third-party service, nor for data loss caused by a third-party service.
  • Changes to a third party's terms, pricing, or shutdown of the third-party service that result in restricted Servan functionality are not attributable to us.
  • Some integrations (for example, Notion) require you to explicitly share pages or resources with our app for them to be accessible.

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Tyranno Apartment and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as required to use the Service. Your Content remains owned by you, subject to the license granted in Section 6.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it for any decision. Tyranno Apartment makes no warranty that AI output will be accurate, fit for any purpose, or non-infringing.

  • You may cancel your account at any time from within the Service or by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or for legal or operational reasons.
  • Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Your Content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (typically within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYRANNO APARTMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Pursuant to Article 7 of the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Framework Act on Consumers, the limitation above does NOT apply to damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence with respect to Korean-resident users; in such cases we bear damages liability as required by applicable law. Furthermore, the following are not limited by this clause: (1) damages to life or bodily integrity, (2) damages caused by fraud or willful unlawful acts, (3) any matter for which limitation of liability is not permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Tyranno Apartment harmless from any claim, damage, or expense arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court in the Republic of Korea. Consumer disputes may be brought before the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Transactions Dispute Mediation Committee.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email at least 30 days before they take effect; where the change is adverse to users, we will obtain explicit consent. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
